Cheap Beauty Supplies

One of the comments that I hear the most is "Well I don't have that kind of money for makeup." Beauties do not let this be a road block as to why you do not have the gorgeous makeup that you desire. I have come across a few products that are cheap but just a good as the expensive brands!

1. Sigma Makeup - http://www.sigmabeauty.com/default.asp
This website is a variety of brushes for face and eyes. The brushes are made of quality products and last a long time if they are washed regularly.

2. Coastal Scents - http://www.coastalscents.com/cfwebstore/index.cfm
The Coastal Scents website has a very diverse range of the products they offer. From eye shadows to blush to foundation there are a lot of products to look through. The best thing about Coastal Scents is that the colors are very pigmented so a little goes a long way.

3. Sugar Pill Cosmetics - http://www.sugarpillshop.com/
For the bold and daring this website offers some of the craziest eye shadow colors in the most vibrant of shades! The main focus of products offered by Sugar Pill are  eyeshadows and false eyelashes.

4. Everyday Mineral Makeup - http://www.everydayminerals.com/
My favorite thing about this website is sample option. For a very cheap price you can buy a few samples and test the product before you actually commit and adding to your makeup collection. Even though the price of a full size container isnt much more then the sample it's always nice to know that your going to like the product first.

5. Ruthless Cosmetics - http://ruthlesscosmetics.com/
The eyeshadows from Ruthless are BRIGHT! Although these shadows are a little more pricey they are worth the money if you wish to achieve a very bright color without a lot of product.

6. Jesse's Girl Cosmetics - http://www.jessesgirlcosmetics.com/
Gorgeous colors and such a wide selection of makeup is what the Jesse's Girl website has to offer! They even offer tips and tricks as well as tutorials for hair and makeup.

Hopefully some of these links can help you to build your makeup collection and feel gorgeous! Just another helpful hint, if your looking for inspiration or even how to recreate a certain look check out http://www.beautylish.com/ for unlimited amounts of how to tutorials.

I know that there are many other websites out there so share your findings with me! Thanks for reading :)

Too Faced - Enchanted Glamourland Palette

 Hello Beauties!
I recently made a trip to Sephora for what I would like to call a "look around," knowing that there is a 99% chance I will buy something... During my look around I found the "Too Faced - Enchanted Glamourland" palette.

The palette caught my eye because of it's packaging.. I have to say I am a sucker for glitter. I looked through the different colors in the palette and being as gorgeous as they are I had to have it!
Inside the opening of the packing is a very pinky blush which makes a gorgeous shimmery glow on your cheeks and a Snow Bunny bronzer which adds a nice color for highlighting and contouring. However my recommendation for this bronzer is to add a small amount at a time and build up to meet the color you desire. This bronzer has a lot of pigment and a little goes a long way.

On the inside of the palette you are provided with a lip plumping gloss in a gorgeous shimmery nude color called Pillow Talk. I love this lip gloss because you are able to feel the volumizing tingle and like I said it's a shimmery nude color which is currently trending among many makeup styles. Next is a tube of Shadow Insurance. I really enjoyed the primer because it allowed the shadow to stick to the eye and reduce the amount of fallout as well as made the colors more vibrant. I am beginning to lean more towards the Too Faced primer (Shadow Insurance) versus the Urban Decay (Primer Potion).

I would have to give a thumbs up on the varaitey of color this palette has to offfer. You have bright colors, darker colors and highlighters all in one palette. Also the palette offers shimmer, glitter, high shine and matte type shadows. My favorite shadows are the Honey Pot, Teddy Bear, Boy Toy, Label Whore, Glamorize and Ohh and Ahh. They are all gorgeous on but one thing that should be mentioned about this palette is that although the colors look vibrant in the pan they go on very softly ie: The Exclusive purple looks more like a soft lavender versus the bright color it seems in the pan. The colors still are gorgeous on but in order for a darker look you would need to spend a lot of time building up to the desired color.
My favorite things about this palette begin with the colors being so light, it makes for a great everyday casual smokey eye. The other is that the colors in it are unique. For example the Label Whore is like a red/brown with a teal shimmer. It looks very pretty in person and pairs nicely with the Exclusive green color also in the palette. Another plus about the Enchanted Glamourland palette is that there is not a lot of fallout! The smaller the amount of fallout the happier I am :)
Overall I really enojoy this palette as well as the many different combinations I am able to come up with using the variety of color!

Urban Decay Book of Shadows Part III

Recently I broke down and decided to purchase more expensive eye shadows due to my growing passion for makeup. After looking through Sephora for about an hour I found myself returning to the Urban Decay Book of Shadows Part III palette.
So I bought the palette. I instantly ran home and began to use as many colors as possible! I am so pleased with all of the colors! The pigment in each color is very bold therefore you only need to use a little at a time and build up to meet the intensity that you desire. However my only complaint is that some of the colors have small specks of glitter. These specks can become fallout and make you look like you soaked your eyes in glitter on top and underneath of your eyes. If you do not mind glitter then I suggest you get the palette ASAP!

I have found some colors that will keep me an Urban Decay brand loyalist in this palette. My most favorite color is Snatch. I love this color because although it looks like a peachy color in the pan it goes on just as a highlight that semi matches my skin tone so it's not so bold. My second favorite is Midnight Cowboy. This is another color that I have used as a highlight and an all over lid color for a casual smokey eye. Other colors I like the most (that are not highlights) are Radium (I wore this to class one day with a blue PINK hoodie and received sooo many compliments) Haught, Money, Last Call and Smog. I use Perversion to create the corner of the smokey with just about every color. As far as the eyeliners that are provided, they go extremely smooth. I feel as though I have to sharpen them a lot and when used on the water line they disappear quickly.

Let me know Beauties what you think about Urban Decay!
